I'm dreaming of a white...Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! We've been having crazy weather the past week. One minute it will be raining.

The next minute the sun will shine.

Then it will snow heavily.

Stella and her friend Grace had a great time outside catching snowflakes on their tongues and in their hands.

Ezra enjoyed watching the snowflakes. They lulled him to sleep!

Then, it was Easter yesterday. Stella was all geared up to wear her special Easter dress that Mommy made her. All the girls, I'm sure were excited for their special Easter dresses, only we woke up to snow! Well, it's not Christmas, but it sure looks like it. We had a lovely church service, then went to a friend's house to play in the snow. Stella's funny. She saw the snow in the morning, and wanted to immediately put her snowsuit on, over her dress. That girl loves snow! She got to, since our friends had 6" of accumulation. The other kids had a blast building snow forts.

Then, about 20 minutes before we left for Easter dinner at another friend's house, they let the snowballs rip. I should have gotten a picture of it! Nick and some of the other dads went out and ambushed, even going up on the balcony and bombing them from above. They had a lot of fun. Then, when we got to our friend's house for dinner, while the kids were eating all the "big" kids (including Nick and the other dads) went out again to pummel each other to death. He's sore today!

After dinner we set up an Easter egg hunt inside our friends' house for the little ones. Stella had a lot of fun, not only doing that, but also playing dress up with her friends. It was a fun day!

Sounds fun. Stella is a little cutie pie. We had a kickball tournament at Easter at Allison's dad's ranch in Reliance. 70 degrees. We went to church but found out it had started an hour early so we all went home in our Easter Sunday best. Aye yai yai!
